In the following article, we will discuss what is loading of grinding wheel and remedy to overcome it.
During grinding, particles of work piece get embedded in spaces between grains of grinding wheels or also stick to the surface of the grinding wheel and this UNWANTED happening is called LOADING of grinding wheel.
This is the most common problem people face while using of grinding wheel. This creates serious hindrance in grinding wheel working.
To get the cutting edge or sharpness of the wheel back,the unwanted stock stuck is removed by process called DRESSING. During dressing, the unwanted material stuck on the grinding wheel surface is removed by dressing tool to retain sharp edges and make recesses for chip clearance by properly extruding to grain cutting edges.
