My Mother was Geertje Van Zuylen, from Sassenheim, born there in 1919. She married my father, an American at the end of World War II. She had been in a concentration camp, I'm pretty sure it was Dachau. She and other family members were put there after hiding a Jewish family, and getting caught. My mother passed away and I was unable to get more info from her because of her 2nd husband who was a very bitter and jealous man. Anyone who knew her or of her, please contact me. I know she visited Holland several times over the years, and I met my cousin Willem, who worked for KLM airlines.
If I can get some info I can get her into "Righteous Among the Nations." So I need to find family or friends. Please help me by asking your older neighbors about this family. I can't believe they are all gone. Please contact me. [...] I really appreciate it.[...]
