Beer, Food, and Live Music - Maintain Your Brain 5k Fundraiser

Calling all New Orleanians and residents of the surrounding areas interested in brain health! The Brain Institute of Louisiana is proud to present our inaugural fundraiser, the: "Maintain Your Brain!" 5k Run/2.5 Walk!
The event will be held on Sunday, May 19th at shelter #10 in Audubon Park (6500 Magazine St., Across From the Zoo) in Uptown New Orleans, and will consist of a timed 5k run for serious athletes, and a more casual 2.5k walk for those that prefer to maintain their brain with stimulating conversation and a stroll through the park in the beautiful May weather! The race will begin at 9:00am, and race day registration will begin at 8:00am(All participants are encouraged to show up 30 mins prior to the start time!).
After the run/walk, there will be a reception with all you can eat gumbo, all you can drink beer, and a band for post-exercise enjoyment! All that attend will receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal (While Supplies Last), and 100% of the proceeds will go towards developing the Brain Institute of Louisiana. The event will be open to all ages, and everyone and anyone interested in maintaining their brain and learning more about our new institute is welcome and encouraged to join us!
