F-rated Funny Women Comedy Gala Bath Festival

Funny Women is delighted to be partnering F-Rated to bring an evening showcase of award-winning acts to the Bath Festival as part of a full-day of events on Sunday 20th May.

Top of the show is headliner, Thanyia Moore, winner of the 2017 Funny Women Awards and an all round amazing talent, and the host is the deliciously eclectic Ada Campe, voted Top of the Bill at the 2018 NATYS and top 10 nominee for the 2017 Funny Women Best Show Award.

Thanyia and Ada are joined by 2017 Funny Women Awards Finalist Amy Mason who was inspired to get into comedy by Viv Groskop’s book I Laughed, I Cried. After the birth of her daughter and suffering depression, Amy won her way into the 2017 Funny Women Awards final.

Funny Women is also proud to present two West Country Regional Finalists from the 2017 Funny Women Awards. Sal Drummond, whose self-depreciating vignettes take a peek at family life for parents on the spectrum, and Louise Leigh who is navigating the choppy seas of middle age.

Adding some variety into this brilliant evening are Shirley and Shirley, with their unique brand of pitch-black sketch comedy and stand up. During their 10 years as a duo, Pascale and Joanna have created uproarious characters - from dysfunctional couples, morose sex robots to binge eating ballerinas.
