What wedding? Ok - there is a Royal Wedding at noon & a cup final but please come and join us for a welcome funny break of comedy & analysis with host, Funny Women Awards Winner 2018, Thanyia Moore, FW Awards Finalist Jodie Mitchell, Kelly Ford, Steph Browne and the multi award winning Jenny Collier.

Thanyia Moore was crowned, the Queen of Comedy at this year's Funny Women Awards. With a background in Performance Art, Dance and Drama she has been making audience’s laugh since 2012. Known as ‘one of the hardest working comedians on the circuit’, Thanyia is one of the only females in the UK who works both the mainstream and Black comedy scenes.

Jenny Collier moved from the Welsh mountains to the Big Smoke in 2010 to pursue a career in comedy. She has written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, Huffington Post and Glamour Magazine and has travelled (parts of) the world with her comedy including Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland and Australia. ”Surprising edge” ★★★★ - Shortcom.co.uk

Funny Women Finalist 2018, Jodie Mitchell feels she possibly started her comedy career at school where she stole a head girl speech platform to perform a comedy routine. Her comedy inspirations include Margaret Cho, Sofie Hagen, Bridget Christie, Gina Yashere, Fern Brady, Desiree Burch and Mae Martin.

Actress and comedian Steph Browne has just shared a new sketch for The Hook where she plays the role of her home country of Scotland and says “with a less convincing Scottish accent than the one I speak with in real life. Acting is hard!” A rising star of the comedy circuit she is currently previewing material from a forthcoming as-yet-untitled Edinburgh Fringe show.
