Hmea incredABLE 5k Community Walk and Race

The 18th annual family fun day event is co-hosted by Fox 25 News anchor Gene Lavanchy and New England Patriot all-time great Steve Nelson, and attracts over 2200 people with all proceeds benefiting 4000 children and adults from 1 to 101 with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and behavioral challenges throughput Massachusetts and Rhode island
The event includes a fun 5K race - registered and USATF certified MA08001RN - plus a 5K walk through the park a kids Fun Run. Also, there is free entertainment, food, Kids corner with free games; a raffle with fantastic prizes plus special static displays from Franklin Police plus a 150 Ladder Truck from the Franklin Fire Department.
We have a number of mascots that come too - Wally The green Monster and Tessie from the Boston Red Sox, Slyde from the NE Revolution. NiRoPe (from Cardi's Furniture), Jake from the Worcester Bravehearts, and Nibbles Woodaway (from Big Blue Bug Solutions).

Entertainment and fun activities include the Bubble Man, a creative dress up photo booth, face painting, games, a free Kids raffle, Home Depot interactive woodworking workshop for kids, a dog, a hot rod exhibition, Kids fun Run dash with ribbons, and much more.

There is a free cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and cookies, water, 90 Domino's pizza pies, and juice, fruit and crunch bars all donated by Dean College And Sodexo Foods, DoubleTree Hotel, Whole Foods Market of Bellingham, Dominos Pizza, Garelick Farms and Food Source Inc. and Bimbo Bakeries.
