Lets Race celebrates 5th birthday

Lets Race, the UK’s only full-motion Formula 1 simulation centre is offering 50% off all bookings that are made and taken by the end of May as part of their 5th birthday celebrations!

Lets Race, the UK’s only full-motion Formula 1 simulation centre in Horley, on the borders of Surrey and Sussex, is celebrating its 5th birthday this May.

Lets Race opened in 2013 and to-date is still the most advanced, and only dedicated full-motion Formula 1 simulation centre open to the public. The owners originally invested more than £1million in the technology but over the past few years has expanded the centre’s offering from success to now include Lets Golf simulators and a new soft play centre - Lets Explore - which opened late last year.

During a successful five years, the centre has welcomed over 50,522 visitors who have travelled from all over the world, seen drivers complete over 900,000 laps over 146 circuits, hosted over 132 stag dos and 687 corporate team building events.

Featuring 10 networked simulators, Lets Race gives visitors the chance to drive around a wide variety of circuits including the same tracks as the real F1 superstars - the closest most people will ever get to driving a genuine Formula 1 car.

The professional race car simulators - which utilise the same technology that professional racing drivers and their teams use worldwide - feature three wrap-around screens, a full-motion G-force simulating chassis, and a booming sound system, which combined create an atmosphere that simply has to be experienced to be believed. The F1 model offers speeds of up to 200mph to give drivers a real rush whilst developing enough downforce to keep racers flying around the track when they hit the corners.

Lets Race’s blacked out sim room comes alive while spectators can sit in the grandstand to watch the race unfold making sure that everyone feels like they are part of a real formula 1 race.
