Nature & Wildlife Month

Join us throughout May for the return of our unBEE-lieveably good Nature & Wildlife Month.
Explore our banks of the River Avon and discover the wildlife that lives alongside it.

Get back to nature with pond dipping, leaf and bark rubbings. The Avon Valley team will lead you on a live bug hunt round our nature garden and teach you how to identify creepy crawlies.
Take things at your own pace with our self led trails around the park and join us on a poo hunt. Kids love poo and so will you too with a game of Avon Valley Guess Poo! When you’re finished with that there are nature based crafts and quizzes around the park.

We will have a photography competition running all Month for all budding camera enthusiasts. With 4 age categories, the whole family have an opportunity to compete!

Learn about the best of British Wildlife that we have in the park. We will have regular keeper talks about the Red Foxes, Barn Owls and indigenous Deer we have on site.

There will be themed fun and education all Month with extra activities at weekends and during half term.

We are starting the first Bank Holiday of the Month with 2 very special nature loving guests; Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from the Octonauts! Come and meet them and learn about why we need to keep plastics out of our waterways with a special submarine trip!
