Rachel's Children - Human Rights For Palestinian Children

Speakers are Ruba Awadallah, Eran Efrati, Lara Kiswani, and Jeff Klein. Ms. Awadallah is a researcher for Defense for Children International-Palestine, an independent children's rights organization engaged in the protection of children living under Israeli occupation. Mr. Efrati served in the Israeli Defense Forces, was formerly chief researcher for the Israeli group Breaking the Silence, and is currently executive director of RAIA (Researching the American-Israeli Alliance). Ms. Kiswani is executive director of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center, a grassroots organization working to address economic, social and political impacts of anti-Arab racism. Mr. Klein is a board member of Mass Peace Action and will discuss advocacy efforts around HR 4391 that relates to the use of U.S. aid in the detention of Palestinian children. Refreshments and discussion will follow. Palestinian olive oil will be available for purchase.
