Saysay.love | The Matrix of Water

Photography and installation works by German artist SaySay.Love on the subject of water: its beauty and power.

SaySay.Love’s latest series of photographic works dive into the structures, memories and landscape of water. The images were initiated by the German artist’s experiences of the recent drought in Cape Town, South Africa where he is currently resident. With jewel-like qualities, these largely abstract photographic works force the viewer to look closer at both the beauty and the complex structure of H2O and reflect on its forces.

SaySay.Love's work embodies social activism through photography, installation and wearable art. The imminence of extreme water-shortages in major world cities including London is at the centre of this body of work. Highlights include an installation entitled 'Message in a Bottle' comprised of direct messages from Cape Town residents to Londoners about drought.
