Spooked Kook Surf Competition and Beach Clean Up

Join Surfrider NH for our first annual Spooked Kook event where we’ll be cleaning the beach, dressing up for Halloween and competing in a surf competition (all skill levels, boards and ages welcome!).

Ready to get spooooooky? Join Surfrider NH for our first annual Spooked Kook event where we’ll be cleaning the beach, dressing up and competing in a surf competition (all skill levels and ages welcome - surf, SUP, bellyboard, boogie welcome).
Planning to rip in the Surf Comp and take away first place for Best Costume or Scariest Move? Maybe sweep The Longest Ride? Pre-register for the Surf Comp event by visiting: Eventbrite.com Search for Spooked Kook. Day of the event, you can also register and complete a participant form. $10 registration fee (thank you!!). All payments made to NH Chapter Surfrider Foundation by check or you can pay by Venmo. It's free to participate in the clean-up, as always, but additional donations welcome to support your Chapter's activities!
Costumes are highly encouraged - for comp and the clean up. Preferably a costume you’re reusing from days of yore or one you’re creating from items or materials you already have. And if you’re planning to jump in the water, please refrain from using plastic, glitter, sequins, etc that could end up in the water. All proceeds from event will be for Surfrider’s General Fund to support future clean-up supplies, campaigns to protect your local breaks, beach access community work, and water quality activities.
Also, don't forget to start your own October Clean up Challenge and encourage kiddos in your life to do the same! Remember, all they need to do is ask for support, like $1+ a clean-up. Then, just SNAP, POST, TAG, SEND When posting, mark the location, and tag - #dreamofcleanbeaches @surfridernh Participants in the clean-up challenge can email: nh@surfrider.org for more information & tools. Entries can be made starting Tuesday, October 1 through 5PM on Friday, October 18.
