WHAT: Ruff Start Rescue MOA Adoption Event

Ruff Start Rescue is proud to host a spring adoption event at Mall of America. Guests will be able to meet a sampling of adoptable dogs, cats and critters and learn about the many animals available from Ruff Start Rescue.

Not sure about adoption, but still want to help? Ruff Start Rescue staff will be on hand with details on how to volunteer, foster or donate. The Twin Cities-based rescue has saved more than 20,000 animals since its inception in 2010. Since spring is "puppy and kitten season" at Ruff Start Rescue, guests are also encouraged to help donate to the supply drive at MOA. Top items in need include puppy and kitten food (wet & dry), puppy pads, kitten milk replacer, litter trays and miracle nipples for (oh so cute) bottle-fed babies.

About Ruff Start Rescue

Founded in 2010, Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit companion animal rescue that primarily serves communities throughout the state of Minnesota, as well as states in the south with severe pet overpopulation. The nonprofit rescues stray, neglected, abandoned, and surrendered dogs and cats as well as ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other critters. Most of Ruff Start Rescue's work is accomplished by a complex network of volunteers, fosters, and supporters, all of whom come together to save thousands of animals each year, more than 20,000 since its inception!
