Join us for an art-making workshop on the final day of The Polygon's summer exhibitions! Space is limited, to reserve your spot, please email j.ramsey@thepolygon.ca by Wednesday, September 18.

On the final day of The Polygon’s summer exhibitions, Vancouver artist Maegan Hill-Carroll will lead an art-making workshop in response to "The Clock" and "Gilded Age II". Hill-Carroll brings insights from her own artistic methods of creating still lives by remixing archived materials, as well as a wealth of experience from working with collage alongside artists such as Paul Butler and Geoffrey Farmer. At 11:30, Hill-Carroll will do a brief introduction to collage art, followed by a viewing of "Christian Marclay: The Clock" over noon. Then, she will guide participants in making their own original 2D or 3D collages, through intuitive processes. During the collage party, participants are welcomed and encouraged to view other sections of "The Clock", as well as "Sara Cwynar: Gilded Age II" for inspiration.

Space is limited. To reserve your spot, please email j.ramsey@thepolygon.ca by Wednesday, September 18.

No artistic background required. While this workshop is open to all ages to participate, it is recommended primarily for teens and adults. All materials supplied by The Polygon.
