The Hot Club of Clowntown return to Leopold Square

On Saturday 19th May, Sheffield based quintet The Hot Club of Clowntown will be returning for their annual appearance at Leopold Square’s summer of music. The band will be entertaining visitors with their traditional gypsy style sounds.

Between 2pm and 4.30pm the group will be performing the upbeat music made famous by guitarist and jazz composer Django Reinhardt. Playing a selection of ballads, Gypsy Bossa, Gypsy Swing and Gypsy Waltzes, The Hot Club of Clowntown will be adding a touch of their renowned sophistication, combining a dark gypsy flavour with popular swing beats.
