The Mall Wood Green announces its summer entertainment…

In celebration of the school summer holidays, The Mall Wood Green will be hosting a six-week-long events programme to entertain shoppers over the school break, from Saturday 21st July until Wednesday 29th August.

Throughout the programme visitors can expect to enjoy a variety of free activities including a thrilling act from renowned circus ‘World of Wonder’ on Saturday 28th July. Circus performers will be entertaining crowds with their spectacular show at 12pm, 3pm and 5:30pm. Featuring stilt walkers, jaw-dropping stunts and jugglers, the performance is set to be a real treat for local families.

Five days of slimy entertainment will also take place from Wednesday 8th August until Sunday 12th August when The Mall Wood Green opens its ‘Slime Factory’. Youngsters are invited to get hands on and create slime models with the help of the centre’s wacky scientists, between 12pm and 5pm.

The events programme will continue, from Friday 24th August until Wednesday 29th August, when visitors will be given the opportunity to experience virtual reality using ‘Ocular VR Style’ sets. Children will be invited to take part in a variety of unique Mall Wood Green VR games from 12pm until 5pm - perfect for all gaming enthusiasts.

If that weren’t enough, The Mall Wood Green will also be hosting a selection of special competitions throughout the summer for shoppers to take advantage of.

An Instagram competition named ‘InstaWOW!’ will be taking place on Saturday 21st July from 12pm until 6pm. Shoppers will be encouraged to pose in front of the centre’s giant WOW! logo before uploading it to Instagram and tagging The Mall Wood Green. The centre management team will then hand-pick a selection of their favourite photos to win a fantastic prize.
