Alt-folk duo The Portraits (BBC Radio 2 / Glastonbury Festival) play a family concert with a difference at Frome's Archangel, showcasing new material and collecting crowd voices for a 'Song Of Unity'.

The Portraits, Alt-Folk duo who played live on Clare Balding's BBC Radio 2 show in 2017 and who performed at the last Glastonbury Festival, are delighted to be playing their first concert in the beautiful, buzzing town of Frome, on Sunday afternoon, 21st January 2018. It will be a free entry event in the lovely Archangel venue. The Portraits are launching a new project recording the voices of every crowd they play to for a new 'Song of Unity' - an upbeat positive anthem to unite us all in this period of division and uncertainty - on which all those who take part will be individually named on the final single. There are some big players in the media lining up to get hold of the final track, so make sure to come along and contribute to a piece of history! At this concert, The Portraits will also be debuting some brand new material. Places will be limited, so early arrival is highly recommended.
