The Minnesota Saints Chorale and Orchestra will present Rob Gardner's Oratorio "Lamb of God" at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on Easter weekend. This extraordinary oratorio was composed in 2010 and has since amazed audiences nation-wide with its compelling presentation and stirring melodies. We are pleased to have been performing it since 2012. This highly dramatic retelling of the last week of the life of Jesus Christ features 13 vocal soloists, a solo viola, two narrators, and a full orchestra and choir.
Lamb of God is an extraordinary oratorio composed by Rob Gardner. Gardner graduated from the University of Southern California's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program, and his highly melodic, highly dramatic Lamb of God showcases his artistry and sensitivity. Audiences love the musical themes, poignant emotions, and dramatic interplay in this 90 minute production. We are thrilled to welcome back as special guest violist playing the part of Jesus, the well-known member of the SPCO and MN Orchestra, Sabina Thatcher. She will be joined by other regional and national soloists in this semi-staged performance.
Featured soloists in 2023 are:
