Carrière précédente:: Mr. Payette is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA), and has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Montreal-based securities broker Renaissance Capital Inc. since 2000, which is RCI Capital Group’s major operating arm and an Autorité des Marchers Financiers (AMF) regulated brokerage firm. In his executive role with the company, Sylvain has been instrumental in the success of the company as the Canadian market leader in the Immigrant Investor Program. Prior to joining RCI, he was the Director of the Member Regulation Department of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (now Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) and also worked at KPMG. Mr. Payette is a graduate of the Université du Québec a Montréal and attended the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School in 2003, thus enabling him to acquire the strategic insight and tools for RCI to stay ahead of its competitors.
