From colossal marine murals to wildlife-saving Seabins, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust's Secrets of the Solent project has achieved amazing things during its four-year duration.

In celebration of this fantastic National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project - and all of the staff, volunteers and collaborators that made it possible - the Trust are holding a celebration event on Saturday December 10th at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton.

The eclectic event will feature art workshops with renowned wildlife street artist ATM and talented artist/illustrator Hannah Horn as well as a roster of talks from the Trust and project partners on topics such as Solent wildlife, marine conservation, seagrass and underwater photography.

Take a look at our Weave-A-Fish textiles, our People of the Solent photographs and other interesting marine displays too.

Come along to learn about the Solent's charismatic wildlife, listen to leading experts discuss its future, and – if you fancy it – pick up a paintbrush and help our artists create a giant underwater scene!

Drop in to the event anytime between 10am and 4pm. A timetable of talks and art workshops will be shared on the Trust's Facebook page leading up to the event.
