Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Towcester May 2022

Funhouse Comedy is back at Towcester Mill Brewery on Thursday May 26th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith comedian, choirboy and an 'aspiring' goalkeeper who has supported Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on tour. He has also made numerous TV appearances including as regular host on Sky Sports' Soccer AM and on Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store. As a choirboy in Grimsby, he sang on 'The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the piano. Then later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees album. A professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude, he enthrals the crowd.

Opening the night will the friendly and mischievous Paul McCaffrey, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo', BBC 3's 'Impractical Jokers' and 'Russell Howard's Good News' and has supported Michael McIntyre, John Bishop and Lee Mack on tour. With his spontaneous, exuberant accounts and genuine magnetism he captivates his audiences.

Completing the line-up is the high energy musical comedian David Hoare.

Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self deprecating and observational humour.
