What are the costs of living in Guyana?

Hello,

I wanted to ask what are the costs of living in Guyana. Is it an expensive country compared to US? I heard some things might be expensive because they are imported and there is lot of monopoly...

  has there been any replies to this post as I want to know some of the same information. I want to move to Guyana within the next three years. I am trying to no avail to get information regarding employment, cost of living and way of life.
