Hi,

I am 62 years of age, and i am working with Ministry of Health in one of the border provinces in KSA.
As my contract was set to be extended for another year, the employer told me that the computer did not accept the renewal since my age was 62. My director is willing to extend my agreement and has referred my case to the Director General who has sent it to Riyadh. Does anyone know the whole procedure and how long does it take? What are the chances of continuing the employment after 62. Are there any people working after the age of 62 in Saudi?

    one of my friend continued working in saudi after his retirement at the age of 60 yrs. upto 60 yrs he worked with the govt hospital after that they tranferred the sponsorship to a private company & he was outsourced to same hospital.
