hi everybody,
i have a job offer for a temporary job in dubai. i would very much like to take the job, however, only under the condition that my family can visit me without problems while i am there. can somebody tell me how they handle this and if it might be a problem??

a friend of mine is going through some trouble with that right now. apparently they did some changing to the visa requirements (again), so that its no longer possible to be a sponsor for your family when they come to visit. they always try to restrict the number of foreigners coming in as it's that popular. however, there is a way.
this is what i found on gulfnews:Residents can apply for a visa for their spouse or blood relative. Expatriates will not be allowed to sponsor friends. And sponsoring other blood relatives will require approval of a senior officer.
might be best for you to check with the embassy - they should know....
