The 16th edition of the ICAA conference where academic and industrial researchers, scientists, and engineers meet to discuss recent developments in aluminum science, technology, and applications.

The International Conference on Aluminum Alloys (ICAA) has been organized every second year alternating among Asia, America, and Europe. The conference series provides the leading international forum where academic and industrial researchers, scientists, and engineers meet to discuss recent developments in aluminum science, technology, and applications.

The technical program of ICAA16 will cover such topics as:
Advanced characterization
Casting and solidification
Corrosion and surfaces
Deformation behaviour and formability

Juergen Hirsch Honorary Symposium (This symposium in honor of Juergen Hirsch will discuss recent developments in the thermomechanical processing of aluminum alloys. The contributions of Juergen Hirsch will be highlighted and the current status and recent advances in relevant research areas will be discussed.)

New directions in manufacturing and alloy design

The Conference will take place over four days at the world-renowned McGill University in Montreal, Canada. The Conference will also feature exhibits and a poster session. It is co-organized with REGAL (Regroupement Aluminium). During your time at ICAA and in Montreal, you will get to experience the fabulous city that is Montreal with its great food and activities.
