The Jake Walden Band and Shaw Davis and the Black Ties are two South Florida-based favorites and rising stars on the blues-rock scene. Get ready for a high-energy mix of originals as well as renditions of covers from giants such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cream, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Allman Brothers Band and more.

Jake developed his slide playing based on the styles of Duane Allman and Derek Trucks, yet his sound is all his own. It resonates and captivates. His rich, authentic, R&B-esque, funky, blues guitar-playing style is felt deeply by audiences. His shows are feel-it-in-your-bones experiences. Jake represented the Treasure Coast Blues Society at the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis and, along with his band, is keeping the blues alive!

Often covered in Blues Magazine and heard on Blues Radio International, Shaw Davis has come to be known for his raw and emotional style. He's a fast and flashy player whose approach rests equally on technical assurance and musical intelligence. Shaw Davis & The Black Ties have created serious buzz in the blues community as a force to be reckoned with. The trio's shows are memorable!
