Bay Street Cabaret: Hot Summer Broadway

The Bay Street Cabaret's Broadway series returns with an all-new show "Hot Summer Broadway" on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Embracing the hot Savannah summer, the evening will feature some of the area's most talented vocalists performing showtunes that bring the heat to a sizzling stage including "Summer Nights" from Grease, "All that Jazz" from Chicago, "Burn" from Hamilton, "Big, Blonde and Beautiful" from Hairspray, and much more.
The production will be co-hosted by Savannah natives Trey Norris, voted the "Best Local Actor" in Connect Savannah's Best of Savannah 2020 poll and "Best Drag Queen" in 2021, and JoJo Ward, winner of Club One's 2017 "Star Search" competition. Both will be singing live as they take the stage in their outrageous alter egos Treyla Trash and Carman iCandy.
Featured performers include Savannah locals Cecilia Tran Arango, Brandon Kaufman, Justin P. Kent, and Taylor Mercier, who collectively have performed, worked, and/or studied with the Bay Street Theatre, Collective Face Ensemble, Savannah Repertory Theatre, Odd Lot Improv, Asbury Theatre, Georgia Southern University, and more.
The production will be staged in the Bay Street Theater space at Club One Jefferson and will feature a cocktail hour with specialty drinks, trivia, and fun surprises starting at 7pm and a curtain time of 8pm for the show, which is expected to run approximately 90 minutes. Limited, reserved table seating is available for $25 per ticket, limited reserved box seating is available for $20 per ticket, and general admission chair and cabaret stool seating is available for $15.
