Building capacity to incorporate coding and computational thinking in the curriculum

The Digital Careers organisation states that students need experience and skills in computational thinking and computer programming (coding) to be successful in their future careers. The NSW syllabus provides a range of opportunities to develop students' understanding of computational thinking and coding. While the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies is not mandated in NSW, the key concepts, content and resources offer inspiration for classroom activities to embed coding and computational thinking.

So how can you deliver this in the classroom? How do you make the links and identify opportunities to teach this as part of the existing syllabus?

This conference provides practical advice on how to apply coding, computational thinking and digital technologies across the curriculum.
