Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Ashby-de-la-Zouch January 2022

Funhouse Comedy opens their New Year at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday January 6th with a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the energetic and satirical writer and comedian Geoff Norcott who recently won a BBC Radio and Music Award for Best Comedy Production and has many TV credits to his name, including Live at The Apollo (BBC 2), The Mash Report (BBC2), Question Time (BBC2) and Comedy Bigmouths (C5). He delivers an eclectic mix of dark material, impressions and politics with a confident smile and optimism. His shrewd standpoints on life make his anecdotes extremely captivating and leave his audiences wanting for more.

Opening the night will be the friendly and mischievous Paul McCaffrey, who has appeared on 'Live at The Apollo', BBC 3's 'Impractical Jokers' and 'Russell Howard's Good News' and has supported Michael McIntyre, John Bishop and Lee Mack on tour. With his spontaneous, exuberant accounts and genuine magnetism he enthrals everyone.

Also appearing will be the unique and entertaining Good Kids, with their daft, weird and lairy alternative act.

Completing the line-up is the interesting funnyman Preet Singh, with his personal take on life.

Compere for the night will be the energetic and animated Spiky Mike.
