Savannah Parrot Head Club - Goen' for Koen - On Tybee!

The Savannah Parrot Head Club is renowned for its "Parties with a Purpose" and has been organizing the multi-day "Goin' for Koen" fundraising event on Tybee for several years. This event supports Cure SMA, a charity dedicated to fighting Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a genetic disease affecting children.

There are several ways for people to participate. This Thursday, February 22, there will be a free Jimmy Buffett Tribute concert at Calvin's Dog House. Friday night at Wind Rose is reserved for "Charioke," a fun twist on Karaoke with a fundraising element.

The main event, "Bar Exam," takes place on Saturday (attached poster). This promises to be a lot of fun. We will also have a cash $1,500 raffle and Raffle Baskets filled with all kinds of cool items. The baskets are themed — for example, Man Basket, NOLA Basket, Wine Basket, and so on. This kicks off at the Rock House around Noon.

Saturday night continues the fun with Charioke II at Poo's.

The event concludes on Sunday with another Jimmy Buffett Tribute Brunch at Calvin's. Please see the attached link for the full event details, including the $1,500 raffle.
