The Living Last Supper

On the eve of His crucifixion, Jesus and His twelve disciples met in the Upper Room in Jerusalem to observe Passover. At this meal, Jesus instituted the
Lord's Supper, observed by Christians to this day. As they ate together, Jesus announced that one of the disciples would betray Him. Leonardo da Vinci
sought to capture their reactions in his famous painting, The Last Supper. Our actors will recreate this painting and ponder the question, "Lord, is it I?"
There will be a musical bridge after some soliloquies. The service will continue with the congregation taking communion in the pews. Authentic costuming
has been prepared, and the scene will recreate the painting as closely as possible. Come reverently to the Upper Room and participate in the drama that
took place so long ago.
