    Hi everyone,
    I am new in Spain and would like to know if and when I do need to register here. Can I register at town hall or do I need to go to Police National? I already applied for the NIE number and found a job. Is it correct that my future boss will apply for the social seguridad? Can I also do it myself and where? I brought in my own car with Dutch number plates. Do I need to change the plates and if so when and what does it cost? I understood that a application for a NIE number is already an registration in the Spanish system, so why apply for a tarjeta residencia? I ask around already, but it seems that the opinions about all above are very different. If anyone knows the real answers please do not hesitate to contact me! Gracias! Sandra
