Cedar Ridge Quarter Auction

The Cedar Ridge Quarter Auction is a super fun event where you bid with quarters on auction items that interest you. You won't want to miss this! So bring your family, friends and your quarters!
How does it work? When you arrive at the door, admission is free and you will be able to purchase your paddles and get a program. Food and drinks will also be available to purchase.
• 2 paddles $5.00
• Extra paddles $3.00/2 for $5.00
You can then walk around and look at all of the vendors, items and special raffles (you can buy special raffle tickets for these). The lots will generally have retail value of $20-$100, with perhaps a few higher value lots.
• Items up for Auction: Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Magnolia Design Co, Tupperware, Perfectly Posh, Norwax, Gift cards and much more!
• Raffles: Include a weekend in condo in Ocean City and Connie's Treasure Chest and Boutique
Find a seat at a table, get some food and/or drink for some energy, and prepare to bid!
The program will give a brief description of the item, and also give a number of quarters to bid.
When the auction begins at 2pm, and you wish to "bid" on the offered item, you put the appropriate number of quarters in the container in the middle of the table, and HOLD YOUR PADDLE UP! (The caller will generally say "Quarters In and Paddles Up!").
All of the quarters are collected off the table by our volunteers, the Chip Barrel is spun, and a chip is drawn. If that chip matches your numbered paddle, which is up in the air, YOU WIN THE ITEM. Scream, Shout, Let Us Know You Have WON! The item is then delivered to you!
However, if your chip is drawn, but you did NOT put quarter(s) in, yell out "NO BID". We will draw out another chip, until a winning chip is drawn.
Quarters will be available to purchase at the check-in table.
