CitySquare invites you to join the fight against poverty in DFW by becoming a supporter, volunteering, or helping us celebrate 35 years of impact at Block Party.

Block Party is always a blast, and we can't wait to celebrate! This year, we're honoring three of our Hometown Heroes: Kevin Curry, Dr. Constance Lacy, and Dr. Sana Syed.

Our 2023 Hometown Heroes

* Kevin Curry is an entrepreneur, thought-leader and founder of FitMenCook, the food blog and cookbook that has inspired millions of people worldwide to follow him and live healthier, happier, more balanced lives through food.

* Dr. Constance Lacy is Dean of the School of Behavioral Health and Human Services at UNT Dallas. Driven by a passion for engaging on cultural diversity and mental health, she advocates for social justice, social capital, and community-based resource development.

* Dr. Sana Syed serves as Vice President for Allyn Media and is the Founder of Kimiya, a non-profit addressing human rights, mental health and PTSD through documentary films and Fight Club, a therapy program for women in Dallas.
