One constant of war is that it always impacts children. The brutality of Russia's invasion of Ukraine has been particularly cruel, deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure from kindergartens to hospitals. Razom Sestra, Razom Brat means "together sister, together brother" in Ukrainian. Our mission is to help Ukraine recover with an emphasis on kids. Whether it be rebuilding schools and playgrounds, supplying education materials, or helping provide learning opportunities to children wounded by the war or dealing with the loss of a parent, We stand by Ukraine. We want to encourage young people from USA to engage with Ukrainians on many levels, including, when the situation permits, taking groups of young people to Ukraine to work with peers there on rebuilding projects.
Our event will be a celebration of what Ukraine has been able to achieve after nearly two years of full-scale war, to remember those who have fallen, and to explore the strong bonds and values our two freedom-loving countries share.
We will feature guest speakers, informational videos, a charity auction, and a report from the Rebuilding Ukraine Forum attended by our President in October. We will wrap up the festivities with a highly-anticipated musical performance from Darka Dusty and the Borshch Beatniks.
The concepts of Dignity and Freedom are shared by all those who seek to live in free societies in peace. Come honor that spirit with us November 22nd!
Admission is FREE! Food, sodas, alcoholic drinks available.
Razom Sestra, Razom Brat is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are deductible to the extent permitted by law.
