Hands On! Arts & Activities Day

Hands On! Arts & Activities Day is an family-friendly community event featuring workshops and classes, including outdoor exploration and art-centered options.

Hands On! Arts & Activities Day is an engaging program-based event geared towards living out Butler Montessori’s mission of purposeful enrichment. This family-friendly community event features a variety of parent/child and child-only workshops and classes, including outdoor exploration and art-centered options. Hands On! provides an opportunity to gather, explore the school’s beautiful 22-acre campus, and experience hands-on learning at its best. This year's classes include yoga, archery, geocaching, bush skills, nature-trail treks, cupcake decorating, bracelet making, and much more.

Come as early as 10 am to complete your registration and explore our campus. Class times vary with our earliest class beginning at 11 am (click on Tickets to view options). Enjoy a break at noon for face-painting, games, and fun crafts. Lunch will be available for purchase from our partner, Watershed Cafe, a local small business with meals made from scratch and locally sourced! In order to provide the best possible service, preorder for this event from Watershed Cafe. Your participation and contributions will go support the purchase of our very own multi-use Pick-Up Truck! The Pick-Up Truck will save time and money by moving critical tasks in-house. It will support all Butler Montessori's students through key programs such as Outdoor Education, Equestrian and the Intermediate Farm.
