Introductory to Street Photography

Half day Berlin based hands-on street photography workshop. Aimed at those wishing to gain insights into this wonderful art form.

The streets of any city hold an inexhaustible supply of inspiration for any photographer and Berlin is no different.

The Streets here are bulging with life and moments to capture, and if you can get the most from your light, communicate with your subjects and think fast with your compositions, then there are great images to be made.

This course is for those interested in the artform that is street photography, and will help you gain confidence, and the vital skills you need to survive out of the streets and how to use light and geographical situations to your advantage.

We will help you create those images through a series of assignments, specialist tuition and individual feedback and advice.

We aim these sessions for the beginner to intermediate avid street photographers and those interested in gaining more in-depth knowledge into this art form.

We will cover :

How to conquer your fear of shooting people in various situations
Learn some essential skills and techniques for shooting street composition
How to develop your skills of observation and visual story-telling
Learn how to spot great opportunities in everyday street scenes
Our ‘learn from the masters’ tutorial
Develop your own individual style as a street photographer

These sessions will help you grow as a photographer, and you will be able to develop and hone your skills to really hone your craft.

This course is perfect for keen amateurs, photographers who want to start a career in street photography, and bloggers & those who have experience in other photography skillsets but are looking to branch out into street photography and gain valuable skills in this fun half days street shoot.
