- Hello, I am intending in the long term to live in or in the vicinity of Marseilles. I will be visiting soon to do some more research with regard to places to stay and settle. I have been studying French for a while in England where I am living at the moment. By profession I am an artist and illustrator. I produce art cards and sell my watercolour paintings. If anyone can give me any general advice about living in this area of France I would be very grateful. My interests include politics, tennis, gardening (originally trained as a garden designer), volunteering and meeting and playing petanque!
