Hi there, I am for nearly a year in Basel and I still feel fairly isolated. Before I lived in South Africa for 10 years and I did not experienced this problem. I would like to meet some nice people and have friends. Anyone can give some advise? Where do the expats meet and what are they up to? With the Fasnacht around the corner is the expat comunity planing any special activities?

Hi Brenda! i know how u feel coz ive been there and im gonna be where u r right now in the near future :( i guess if u dont mind we can be friends and share information about the expats living in Basel? although right now i cant help u with that yet :((
