Join us for an evening of music & spoken word featuring poet, activist, and artist Tammaka Staley with guest musician It happens at Chayz Lounge, the intimate venue at Nonnah's. Enjoy a light meal, delicious desserts and wonderful list of wines before or during the show.
Tammaka is the 2017 co-champion of the annual Queen of the South Poetry Slam. She has performed as a featured artist at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts during the 2016 National American College Dance Festival in Washington, D.C., and has performed in over 30 venues across the country. Tammaka has work featured in the Huffington Post, HuffPost Black Voices, and SELF Magazine.
* Dress Code: Casual Dressy. No athletic attire.
* Entrance to Chayz Lounge is located behind the Nonnah's and accessible from Park Street.
* Parking is free with your ticket. Simply show your event ticket to the parking attendants and the $5 fee will be waived.
