After opening for country acts like Miranda Lambert, Brett Young, Brantley Gilbert, Maddie and Tae, Jon Langston and Lily Rose, Matt Freedman and his band The Herd are poised to have a breakout year as an artist, songwriter and performer . Freedman was awarded best band, musician and artist in PA in 2022, and poised to keep his soulful movement going. A singer and songwriter with a 15 year history of writing and selling out shows, Matt Freedman was born in Pennsylvania (Bucks Co)and was a teenager when he began writing songs. His blend of storytelling, nostalgia and anthem hooks makes Matt a unique artist as well as songwriter in the pop/country and Americana genres.
