Ballet Memphis is back on stage with three delightful works set to fabulous musical scores. “Elapse” by Gabrielle Lamb is a beautiful exploration of a space where every minute counts. Steven McMahon’s “Thoughtforms” is an exploration of creativity and personal experience where an impending culmination of events is felt but never realized. And “Pagliacci” is a bold retelling of the opera’s tragic love triangle with commedia dell’arte figures as the main characters. The choreography is based on the physical comedy and expert clowning of Charlie Chaplin and is set to the music from the classic 1928 movie, The Circus. Everyone will enjoy this witty and charming dance piece.
