James' Par For The Harbor 5th Annual Event To Be Held In Somers Point

Gregory’s Restaurant and Bar, in Somers Point, NJ, will host a fundraising event on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11am – 4pm, with all proceeds benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Attendees will be able to enjoy an afternoon of food and drinks with family and friends, while taking part in basket raffles and prizes throughout the day.

P4TH was established in 2018 by the Agzigian family, whose son, James, at the age of two was diagnosed with Floating Harbor Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder with less than 100 reported cases, as well as the metabolic disorder ASA Lyase Deficiency. This metabolic disorder requires a specialized medication regimen and diet. All proceeds raised by P4TH are placed into a fund at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to be utilized by the Metabolism Department so that children and their families, like James, will be able to receive financial support necessary for medical supplies, medications, treatments, and testing that would not otherwise be covered by insurances.

Stated P4TH Vice President, Lauren Agzigian, “James will be turning ten this summer and doing very well thanks to the incredible support we have from family, friends, and the dedicated team at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Our hope with P4TH is to provide support to other children and families, who are going through a similar situation as us, so that they too can thrive. We are fortunate that we have not had any barriers to accessing what we needed for James, but we realize that we are one of few. We wanted to provide families the support they need to access the things their child needs."
