  Search in: Piola (Green Line Underground stop) or Bicocca (1stop train station from Milan Porta Garibaldi - named "Milano Greco Pirelli"). More cheap because student's area.

  Also at these Underground stations: Milano Porta Venezia (red line), Zara (yellow line) or Milano Porta Romana (yellow line) - a little bit more expensive but close to nightlife and shopping center.

  To avoid: Loreto (green line) and after Bovisa (till Bovisa train station it's ok - I mean "Lancetti", "Garibaldi", after it's dangerous)
