Is Italian a difficult language to learn for Dutch people?

I would like to learn Italian and I was wondering whether Dutch people can learn the language easily. Italian is a Roman language and is derived from Latin (the same with Spanish, French and Portuguese). How long does it take to have a good speaking level? Thanks for any help.

    A couple of months may be enough....never thought to find an italian boyfriend??may be faster:-)ciaooo
