Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Ashby-de-la-Zouch May 2021

Funhouse Comedy is excited to be back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Saturday May 22nd, for a socially distanced night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is winner of 'Dave's Best Joke of The Fringe' in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on 'Mock The Week' and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and cheery disposition he keeps the crowd hanging on to every word.

Opening the night will be the energetic and satirical writer and comedian Geoff Norcott who recently won a BBC Radio and Music Award for Best Comedy Production and has many TV credits to his name, including Live at The Apollo (BBC 2), The Mash Report (BBC2), Question Time (BBC2) and Comedy Bigmouths (C5). He delivers an eclectic mix of dark material, impressions and politics with a confident smile and optimism. His shrewd standpoints on life make his anecdotes extremely captivating and leave his audiences wanting for more.

Also appearing is the hilarious the warm and friendly Jake Lambert, with his wonderful combination of one-liners and personal anecdotes.

Compere for the night will be the energetic and engaging Spiky Mike.
