Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Ashby de la Zouch November 2021

Funhouse Comedy is back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday November 4th for a top night of laughter.

Topping the bill is comedian and character actor Jo Enright, who has appeared alongside Peter Kay in 'Phoenix Nights', with Steve Coogan in 'I'm Alan Partridge' and most recently seen playing the part of 'Angela' in ITV Sitcom 'The Job Lot'. A naturally gifted comedian who entices you in with her detailed observations to build up the picture, maximizing every laugh with the tiniest nuances. Turning a pun in to a story worth sharing is something that she exceeds at and she has no qualms about poking fun at herself to earn a good laugh.

Opening the night will be the diminutive Andy Askins, who has appeared on BBC1's The John Bishop Show; his air of vulnerability and innocent child-like qualities mislead the crowd heightening the impact of his killer lines. With his guitar and his wickedly dry sense of humour, he captivates everybody with an eclectic mix of offbeat comical songs and parodies. A talented musician with an appealing voice and cheeky magnetism, he never fails to leave his mark.

Also appearing is Romanian professional stand-up comedian Radu Isac. Since moving to the UK he has switched to performing in English and has done so seamlessly, winning various comedy competitions, including Funhouse's own "Should I stay or Should I Go?" Champions' title.

Completing the line-up will be the incredibly funny cutlery sage Ian Crawford, with his unique safety advice.

Compere for the night is the lively and chatty Spiky Mike.
