Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Oakham November 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday November 30th for another night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is Irish comedian Martin Mor. Starting out as a circus entertainer he then decided to turn to stand-up. Having supported Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner on Tour he is one of the most popular and well travelled comics on the circuit. His fiery insults often directed at audience members, are accepted with laughter when delivered by this gentle giant of a man.

Opening the night will be the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of this year's ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.

Also appearing is Canadian stand-up, writer and actor David Tsonos. With his friendly and confident persona, he intrigues everyone with his combination of banter and impulsive comments.

Compere for the night will be the appealing Carl Jones, who has a natural ability of telling humorous stories, which draw in the entire crowd.
