Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Willington, Derbyshire August 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Dragon, Willington on Sunday August 27th for a bank holiday night of laughter.

Topping the bill is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity mixed with impressive musicianship that yields hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.

Opening the night will be co-star of the 'The ParaPod Movie' and winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 the appealing and perceptive Barry Dodds. He has supported Jason Manford, John Bishop, Tape Face and Pete Firman on tour, as well as being Chortle Awards 2016 Nominee, Best Internet for 'The Parapod' Podcast, with Ray Peacock. He captivates the audience with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit. His mix of surprisingly uncanny and irrepressibly cheeky material never fails to fascinate them.

Completing the line-up is the affable Phil Carr, master of one-line jokes that have seen him win various comedy competitions.

Compere for the night will be the positive, amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
