Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela - Open Air Cinema

The award winning Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela will be screening under the stars at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Friday, Aug 20 at 7pm as part of our 2021 outdoor cinema weekend.

The film presents a modern day Bollywood adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. In a Gujarati village, known for its lawlessness, two rival clans are embattled in violent conflict. The son of the Rajadi leader, Ram is determined to find an end to the conflict but when he falls in love with Leela, a member of the Sanera clan, he unwittingly reinvigorates the conflict.

We will be offering traditional Asian street-food and a bar will be in operation. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic and a blanket or deck chairs as you sit back and relax under the stars on the unique cricket outfield as the film is shown on the big screen.
