Lots of fun along Lake Washington. Local artists including L C Pitre, local Central District artist who studied under Jacob Lawrence, Lanier's Fine Candies whose motto is "everything's better when it's covered in chocolate," fabulous wooden bowls, several wonderful jewelers, writers and other interesting booths.

Fun for children including games, face painting, temporary tattoos, and other activities.

We have a great musical line-us as well:
· Dysfunction Junction Bluegrass Band, featuring some of Seattle's finest bluegrass musicians will be creating fantastic music for us from noon to one.

· Nik and Joe, a duo from the well known group, The Nines, will sing favorite songs from the past several decades from 1:30p-2:30p.

· Well known marimba ensemble, Vawachi II, plays high energy dance music in a Zimbabwean-style from 3-4pm.

Leschi is a diverse and dynamic Seattle community with a small but mighty "downtown" that borders Lake Washington. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself! Stop by the booth of Lanier's Fine Candies whose motto is "everything's better when it's covered in chocolate"! This local company offers handcrafted nut brittle smothered in chocolate of your choice: milk or dark. Start with your favorite nut...is it macadamia? Lanier's has it covered. Lanier's masterpieces were Recently reviewed in the blog: Chocolate Ratings. These candies make great gifts if you can keep from opening them long enough. Herman says they are making the world a little sweeter!
